Rushit is the third generation Optometrist of the Nagar family & shoulders responsibility of taking the family business onward and upward.

Rushit pursued his Bachelor of Optometry from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune in 2007 followed by Masters in Clinical Optometry from Nagar School of Optometry in 2011. He specializes in contact lenses and was awarded the fellowship of International Association of Contact Lens Educator (IACLE) in 2014. He also became a member of British Indo Pacific Orthokeratology Myopia Control Academy (BIPOK) in 2018.
